Over the years, I’ve tried more diets than I can count, all hoping that each diet would be “the one”.

Here’s a small sampling of the diets I’ve done over the years: Ayurvedic constitutional, macrobiotic, vegetarian, vegan, autoimmune, paleo, keto, macros tracking, low-carb paleo-ish, elimination diets, MTHFR supportive, cleanses… I could go on but you get the idea.

Thanks to this deep experimentation and education, I have my ideal diet. It isn’t a pre-packaged named “diet”.
It’s a diet in the sense that what I eat on a daily basis is the conglomeration of where I live, who I am and what my health issues bring to the table.

This diet, this way of eating, supports me, my life and my health.

With this way of eating, I’ve successfully put my own Hashimoto’s into remission and ushered clients into a life no longer ruled by IBS, migraines and headaches, menstrual cramps, chronic pain, thyroid conditions, and mysterious “unrelated” symptoms.

I started My Autoimmune Kitchen because I spent years figuring out what foods were good for me, my autoimmune and chronic health problems.

Imagine a life no longer ruled by fears of what to eat vs what not to eat.

I love helping clients thrive and return to living full and rich lives again!

I’d love to help you too.

When you work with me, you’ll:

  • Learn what foods work best for you
  • How to prepare a variety of foods and meals so you’ll always have something gorgeous to eat
  • Learn about your health condition from a different perspective
  • Learn about foods from an energetic perspective, so that you can make your own choices about your foods in the long-run
  • Feel empowered and engaged through the healing process

If you want to feel good about yourself, your health, and your food: there’s no better time than to start now.

My autoimmune condition has been in remission for several years thanks to this way of eating.

Best of all?

I love what I eat.

And I feel great.

I want to help you do the same.

I love making recipes and food as healthy and delicious as possible.
I remember being concerned about eating healthy even when I was a kid!  Guess I was made to be a food-as-medicine herbalist!
Grocery stores and farmer’s markets bring me joy.
Eating local, and organic whenever possible, is a priority in my life.
I don’t like factory farming, and because of that I support local farmers as much as I can. I’m very concerned about the desertification of our agricultural land, and what will happen to everyone – human and non-human alike if we do not change how we grow and raise our food.
Food sovereignty and ending hunger are life-long passions of mine. I support organizations that work for the same on a profit-based-basis.

I’m also a clinical herbalist.

While food may be the foundation for my health, herbs keep everything humming along smoothly.

After years of trying different dietary approaches and not making headway, I enrolled in a clinical herbalist training program.

I took herbs religiously for years and didn’t make as much progress as I’d hoped. I followed the traditional dietary advice given. Yet, still very little progress.

It was after working with an acupuncturist who suggested a certain diet that I started to get curious and dig deeper into the why’s and hows of dietary recommendations alongside herbs. After much research, questioning and contemplation, I adjusted not my diet to fit with the herbs. And that’s when I really started making progress.

All the amazing herbs in the world couldn’t undo what I was putting in my body three times a day!

If something is amiss, I can adjust my diet, then take the appropriate herbs to correct what is out of balance.
